Three days, one tournament
The tournament follows the FIRST LEGO League Challenge rules published by FIRST for the season. The season theme, the mission model and the judging categories all come from FIRST.
-
Robot game matches
Teams run their robot on the season's competition table, in successive matches against the clock. Matches take place in the competition area, with the action relayed on a large screen so that everyone in the room can follow it.
-
Judging sessions
Each team meets panels of judges in dedicated rooms, away from the noise of the hall. Several judging rooms run in parallel so that every team can be seen across two days.
-
Practice area
Practice tables are set up in the main hall, next to the pits, so teams can keep tuning their robot between two matches without crossing the building.
The tournament takes place inside La Baule Robotic Summit, a public robotics festival held in the same venue over the same three days. The festival site
